“Mal-Aħħar Mewġiet“, the tenth collection of poems by Charles Bezzina, poems which, while their form is traditional, the content is modern, with a fresh and contemporary metaphor, which is generally associated with the sea. In the words of the poet himself, the verses are “lyrics and feelings of a sensitive person, who suffers and is hurt by what he sees badly around him, and cannot escape, who feels and rejoices in moments that probably pass quickly, and that he questions and doubts about himself, in this fast life that is changing every day”. The book contains Tarcisju Zarb’s Analytical Analysis.
This book of poems was published with the financial assistance of the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo and of Heritage Malta.
