This book contains a wealth of information on a short period of time in the History of Gozo, particularly that of Nadur. Saliba presents the result of research on the History of health, the social situation and the contribution made by the priest Martin Camilleri in the years before and after the First World War. The book is interspersed with a number of old photographs that continue to complement the social situation of Gozo at the beginning of the 20th century. It also contains a Glossary of Medical words and Terms, and an Appendix with names of people who were affected badly by the flu pandemic.
