Lejl Imkebbes, a festival of lights, held at the majestic Cittadella in Gozo.

Over 30,000 candles of all forms lighted up the open spaces and narrow streets of Cittadella, creating a wonderful magical atmosphere, offering breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Gozo’s hills and valleys, villages and churches and a view right across the sea to Malta.

The night also offered numerous activities for everyone with historic re-enactments, extended and cheaper museum entrances, opening of other public venues of interest, live entertainment and children’s activities.

Lejl Imkebbes was organised by NRGY in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.
