Launch of the book “1551 – The Siege That Stifled Gozo”

On the occasion of the 470 year anniversary of the event of 1551, one of the most interesting events, as tragic, in the History of Gozo, the need was felt to launch a book about this same event. The publication “1551 – the siege that stifled Gozo”, the work of the well-known Gozitan historiographer, Joseph Bezzina, was launched on Saturday 11th December 2021, in the Cathedral of Gozo, in the presence of the Minister for Gozo, the Hon. Clint Camilleri. In the evening a critical analysis was made by Mr. Joseph W. Psaila.
