“Il-Misteru tal-Gran Kastell” is a new publication about the history of the Citadel launched by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, with the collaboration of Heritage Malta, in the presence of students from the Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary School.
This book, which is aimed particularly at students in the first years of secondary school, is written by Carm Cachia with illustrations by Cherise Micallef.
This publication is being launched on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the completion of various works that shaped the fortifications of the “Gran Kastell”, or as we know it better, the Citadel.
